Responsilities:

1,Specifying cutting tool processes design for new programs and determine process proposal, provides capital estimation on all tooling and complete preliminary MPPS for department Manager's review;
2,Formulating tooling specification or standards for released program to outside suppliers, leading tooling's sourcing;
3,Know how to operate ANNC FASTGRRING grinding machine, GLEASON CB tooling loading machine, OGB tooling checking machine, Zoller Loading instrument and etc.Know the application for lathe tool, milling tool, driller, tap tool, reamer, gear set cutting tool, can provide reasonable cutting parameters regarding different materials.
4, Reviewing and approving supplier's design and deviations, following up tooling building schedule and performing executive review periodically with supplier.
5, Support the relative process documents creation and review with function team on Process flow Diagram, Metrology review, PFMEA, Control Plan, Pictorial Process Sheet etc;
6, Interact with, and facilitate communication with AAM WHQ tooling engineer, suppliers and customers to coordinate manufacturing engineering activities and ensure business objectives are met;
7,Optimize material and condition of tooling, analyze tooling cost and tooling life, provide tooling cost to finance, maintain reasonable tooling inventory to meet production requirement.
8,Develop new tooling supplier to save cost for plant production;Be responsible for new tooling test and provide test report, set up tooling code;
9,Lead current tooling problem solving / root cause analysis to improve manufacturing process so that we can improve FTQ;

Skills Required:
1,Bachelor and above major in Mechanical Design or Mental Cutting
2,More than 5 years working experience in Mechanical Engineering or tooling & fixture design & application.
3,Familiar with machining process, good at tooling design and application, familiar with the performance and parameters of cutting tools, understand tooling development and production, good at HMC, VMC and other machine fixture design,
4,Be familiar with MS office (word, excel PowerPoint) and Auto-CAD;
5,Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
6,Good problem solving, project management and good communication skills;
