Position’s purpose:

The Intern Web Programmer will work on developing QC tools and integrating open-source solutions into a wrapper designed to cover Performance Testing needs for WebBased games.

Job requirements:

• Pursing graduation from a University degree program or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Knowledge of at least 1 programming language (PHP, Python, Action Script, Java, Ruby, JavaScript etc…).
• Understanding of databases (Mysql , MongoDB, Sqlite etc..).
• Understand software engineering practices.
• Understand basic principles of Web/HTTP protocol.
• Able to analyze complex problems and design simple solutions.
• Able to program and debug simple applications using object-oriented or procedural programming.
• Ability to reuse various existing modules/components.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Passion for working in the video gaming industry.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.

Considered a plus:

• Good knowledge about Java programming language.
• Familiar with open source testing tools such as JMeter , Selenium, Grinder.
• Knowledge of the UNIX operation system.
• Understand Apache/Tomcat web server.
• Knowledge in HTML, XML, Web Services.
• Knowledge of about flex applications, data exchange between front-end and back-end.
• Fast learner.
