Job Summary
Ensures that the manufacture of the product and the operation of test equipment is effective according to customer specifications within the quality and productivity standards established by the Company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Reduces or makes more efficient test times that will permit the increase in production.
Achieve downtimes of no more than .3% of production time monthly
Effectively manage resource such as human or materials in order to fulfill 100% of goals and commitments
Maintain all certifications required by the company
Ensure and follow up on the implementation of continuous improvement actions against department metrics
Supervisor and follow up on corrective maintenance programs for test equipment
Analyze causes and follow up on corrective maintenance to test equipment to prevent stops in the production lines
Coordinate, supervise and follow up on new procedures
Indentify, propose and plan engineering changes for continous improvement
Advise direct/indirect reports on problem resolution in their areas
Coordinate the engineering group to analyze the re-design of products and test equipment
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
Plus 3 years experience in test area in electronic product manufacturing
