Introduction:
The firmware Developer is responsible for designing Firmware or Software applications according to product requirement, features and standards from customer point of view, implement development tasks assigned to them independently in the desired quality before the agreed deadline and ensuring product qualities by planning, preparing, realizing, and documentation of the work package assigned to him/her.

What are my responsibilities?
- Plan and estimate the time and effort of work packages assigned to him/her. Independently implement the work packages in a suitable way with balance of cost, schedule and quality, continues improvement for better solution;
- Team work with colleagues in a department and with team members in a project;
- Active in knowledge sharing. Active in problem solving with constructive proposal;
- Documentation of results and transfer of work package to next stage in the process;
- Check work results for patent qualification (utility patent, copy right, etc.) and, where required, generation of invention report;

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- At least 5~8 years development experience in Firmware or embedded Software;
- Being familiar with Programming Languages of assembly/C/C++, able to independently work with embedded developing environment and Tools (e.g Gcc, GDB, CCS, IAR, ARM DS, Tornado, etc.), have at least 3 years working experience in bootloader, device drivers, TCP/IP/X.485 protocol stacks, embedded GUI, mini web server, file system or other embedded areas, skills in modeling language (e.g. UML) is a plus.
- Being experienced with different embedded hardware platforms, e.g. ARM, PPC/MPC, STM, Atmel, etc., able to independently develop, debug and optimize the device driver and embedded applications above them;
- Being familiar with the development and debug on RTOS, e.g. vxWorks, WinCE, embedded Linux for applications and/or kernel. Able to develop, tailor or customize the RTOS features on the demand is a big plus;
- Being skillful in design with OO design patterns and methods, able to verify the software quality by modern SW Test tools and methodologies, e.g. mock;
- Able to use SCM tools e.g. clearcase, SVN, CVS to manage software version control and use software bug tracking system;
- The application knowledge in industry automation, e.g. PLC, HMI, IPC is a plus;
- Fluent in English reading, writing, lisening and talking.
