Introduction:
For our TOP Department in CHENGDU, we are looking for a Siemens Production System/Lean consultant.

What are my responsibilities?
- Drive and support of lean activities in the defined areas of responsibility, so that a continuous improvement process is consequently implemented.
- Analyze difficult processes / themes / disruptions in production and production related. Identify weak points, develop solutions and support related implementation, in order to improve production performance and to attain further production improvement.
- Definition of comprehensive standards, description of methods and development of documentation (including also processes, work place development, tools and methods) so that cross-functional (across team or department) knowledge is made available and applicable.
- Preparation, distribution and training of the subject and method knowledge in consultation discussions, meetings, workshops, etc., so that the knowledge is passed on and initiates independent improvement activities.
- Moderation of meetings, workshops and coaching of change processes and activities in the factory and for the management function, so that the successful implementation of lean thinking is assured.
- Evaluation of costs / benefits of the project and carry out the controlling of measure implementation, in order to provide the key figures and benefit statement. Standards must be assured, timetable kept and if necessary escalate in the early stages into the management function.
- Conduct and inform about best practice sharing (factory, cross factories) in order to learn from each other as well as to initiate further improvements.
- Conduction of SPS screenings / assessments in the factory as well as collection and checking of key indicators, to establish a database to define measures and projects.
- Coordination, control and expert leadership of practitioner-teams and / or assigned expert employees, in order to achieve by common target-orientated acting best results and to promote the subject.
- Participation in work groups / projects in order to inform oneself and to provide information to the others, to take influence and to optimize processes and workflows.

What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Familiar with Lean /Kaizen knowledge, Industry engineering and Quality knowledge.
- Equipped with Training/Consultant competence, Project management and Presentation / moderation competence.
- > =5 years experience in Lean/Kaizen manufacturing field.
- Six Sigma or Lean Champion background is preferred.
- Experience in Lean administration is extra points to the position.
- Lean Production consultants firms working experience is also welcome.
- Experience in project management and leadership of project teams is preferred.
- Work experience in WOFE is favored.
- Good command of both written and spoken in English and Chinese.
