Field Application Specialist, Immunology 

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

The Field Applications Specialist will provide scientific and technical support for customers, Sales Representatives and Distributors for our cell separation product lines. The purpose of this position is to support our customer’s applications and build on STEMCELL’s reputation for delivering outstanding service resulting in revenue growth.

DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with Sales Representatives, Regional Sales Managers and Distributors to perform routine and technically challenging demos for customers/potential customers as required.
• Visit key labs to trouble shoot and optimize protocols.
• Train and assist in the product education of customers and distributors.
• Provide seminar lunch & learn presentations to generate leads.
• Identify new applications and product-enhancement opportunities in anticipation of customer needs and competitive offerings and feedback to Sales Management.
• Work with Sales Manager and Distributor to prioritize work with customers.
• Represent STEMCELL Technologies at conferences, workshops and trade shows as required.
• Perform analysis on demos and market as required.
• Assist in revenue generation to meet revenue targets.

                  

QUALIFICATION

• BSc degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience or MSc with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Excellent English communication (verbal, written, presenter) and interpersonal skills both in one-on-one and in a group setting, and critical thinking skills.
• Team oriented yet self-motivated and mature enough to work independently; highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy, and proficient at time management.
• Ability to explain scientific and technical information to both experts and non-experts alike.
• Excellent analysis, troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Sales or customer service experience and additional languages are considered assets.
