We are seeking Talent Sourcers with relevant experience and background for JLR’s CoE HR Talent Acquisition team in Shanghai, China. As a Sourcer you will work in teams together with other motivated and experienced HR and business professionals. You will have the opportunity to work with diverse candidate segments and channels in the area of talent acquisition, employer branding and social media. There will be close contact with candidates, Recruiters, HR Business Partners and external agencies.

Major Responsibilities include:
1. Understand business situation, need and deliver role specific sourcing strategies to meet hiring goals in coordination with the Recruiter
2. Research the talent market and generate new strategies to attract business critical passive candidates through referral generation and direct sourcing
3. Sourcing within internal Talent pool and external sourcing channels
4. Generate a solid pipeline of pre-qualified and engaged candidates
5. Track and report best sourcing passive and active candidate channels
6. Apply alternative approaches to source for specific vacancies leading to diverse pools/pipelines of high quality candidates
7. Develop pipelines for difficult-to-fill and business critical positions Create and maintain lists of potential target companies based on a job family/industry and monitor their market activities
8. Build a robust network of both passive/active candidates throughout the talent sourcing process by means of continuous engagement in proactive dialogues
9. Identify and utilize appropriate ways of candidate cultivation including, but not limited to, social media channels (eg. Linkedin, Glassdoor, WeChat, etc.), basic data mining, job boards, grassroots efforts, community and university outreach, personal networking, internal referrals, target companies, and JLR internal database
10. Liaise with external head-hunting agencies for niche and selected positions based on the sourcing strategy
11. Conduct initial phone interviews with potential candidates
12. Stay abreast of market trends and track competitive practices

Experience & Background Skills Required:
1. Bachelor’s degree or above
2. Knowledge of business environment and structure and desire to keep up to date regarding business and industry trends and implications
3. 3+ years experience in advanced targeted sourcing
4. Executive headhunting, researcher experience is an advantage
5. Experienced with LinkedIn Recruiter, preferably certified
6. Ability to talk about JLR and explain our business, company culture and values
7. Experience with utilization of a variety of proven talent platforms and resources such as social media, major internet job boards, industry-specific blogs/discussion boards, onsite/offsite social engagement events, partnering with trusted professional networks and establishing active presence with local colleges/universities
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to relate to and influence individuals at all levels
9. Strong sense of information confidentiality
10. Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize Results driven, self-motivated, resilient and able to work independently Planning and organizational skills
11. Good conceptual and analytical thinking
12. Possess a professional image with the ability to promote the Company’s employer brand
13. Sound candidate engagement approach with ability to activate passive candidates
