职位描述：
The Project Manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
Execute the New Product Development Process
1. Manage the project through the requirements of the New Product Development phase-gate process
2. Accountable to the Project Decision Board for proper execution of new product development processes in all areas of the project
3. Accountable to the Project Decision Board that project deliveries meet established quality criteria
4. Make project reports to various stakeholders in the organization
Plan the Project
5. Establish plans for how the project will manage scope, time, communications, budget, quality, stakeholders, human resources, risk, and procurements
6. Develop and maintain detailed schedules, budgets, scope statements, etc., in support of the proper management of the project
7. Establish targets for each of the critical performance areas for the project
Lead the Project
1. Has the competencies and capacity to deliver the project outputs
2. Organize and manage the communications and information flow within the project
3. Manage internal and external stakeholders in support of the project
4. Provide coaching to project team members
5. Evaluate the performance of project team member
6. Make decisions to move the project forward and resolve challenges
7. Resolve conflicts that may arise
8. Improve the organization through creating best practices and lessons learned
9. Escalate issues as needed
Manage Risk
1. Identify and evaluate risks to project success
2. Develop plans to address risks and reduce the level risk level throughout the project
Make the Project a Success
1. Ensure that the project delivers within targets for timing, budget, scope, quality, and business benefit.
2. Add a level of enthusiasm and creativity to the project

The Project Manager should demonstrate competence in some or all of the following:

7) Plan: Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement action plans and evaluate the process and results
8) Solve Problems: Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem
9) Aptitude to understand a variety of functional areas such as finance, markets, product management, engineering, quality, production, and sourcing

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor degree, engineering preferred
- PMP Certification preferred
Experience:
- Three or more years project management experience, preferably in new product development
- Familiarity with multi-cultural global organizations
