Summary
Provide Field support to customers to ensure the continuous and stable operation of our Instruments. This includes installing, maintaining and supporting our products, provide end user training. This role will interface directly with Customers. The job requires extensive travel at short notice.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
? Install and repair all models of optical emission spectrometer / EDXRF in China.
? Carry out Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical trouble shooting and replace the parts so as to keep the downtime of an instrument to a minimum.
? Carry out Maintenance as laid out by AMECARE Service Contracts
? Provide training to customers during installation
? Maintain high customer satisfaction. Regular Interactions with customer on equipment status.
? Follow all AMETEK policies and guidelines with regards to daily operations such as submitting time sheets and travel expenses on time.
Knowledge, Skills & Experiences
? Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer, and possess interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various levels of personnel both internally and at the customer site.
? Travel at short notice
? Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with customers and supervisors
? Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment while focusing on details is required.
? Be able to read and understand electronic / mechanical schematics correctly
? Computer fluent, with specific attention to e-mail and Microsoft Office product skills
? Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to interact effectively in English.

? Bachelor’s degree in Electronics with aptitude to deal with instrument hardware and software.
? Previous experience with optical emission spectrometers would be a plus.
