Job Purpose:
The Student Enrolment Advisor is responsible for recruiting international students to our worldwide centres by counselling, advising, and facilitating the online enrolment process into our Embassy courses. This includes:
? Selling Embassy English courses to students who contact us directly via email, webforms, Live Person chat system, brochure order, phone and walk ins.
? Using the student’s own language where possible and appropriate
? Identifying up-selling opportunities and convert into sales
? Regularly chasing leads via phone and email.

Key Responsibilities:
? To provide the highest levels of customer service in the student’s language where possible
? To advise students and provide the highest levels of customer service in the student’s language where possible before and after arrival
? During the enrolment process, to deal effectively with challenges that arise
? Follow the lead nurturing process and identify opportunities to enhance it
? To follow up leads promptly and effectively by both phone and email
? To maximize conversion rates and work towards achieving and exceeding targets
? To support the Digital Sales Department in its sales effort including providing holiday cover as and where required
? To be available on the website live chat tool to communicate with students – both in Mandarin and English
? To get involved in the social media communication strategy and help with website translation and proof-reading when required
? To identify up-selling opportunities and convert into sales
? Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students for who you are responsible for and with whom you come into contact.

Organisational Compliance:
? The job holder will be expected to operate in accordance with the Study Group Code of Conduct, and all local Embassy Centres policies and operating procedures relating to academic, welfare and safeguarding matters.

Qualifications & Training Required:
? Holds a university level degree (desired)

Experience Required:
? Prior experience working in a call-centre / telephone sales environment (required)
? Experience working in the private education sector (desired)
? Comfortable in high-pressure sales environment (required)
? Customer service experience (required)
? Experience using a CRM system (required) –Salesforce (desired)
? Ideally experience using a “live web chat” system (desired)

Knowledge/Skills Required:
? Excellent communication skills – verbal and written (required)
? Customer-focused, service-oriented approach to sales (required)
? Sensitivity to cultural and linguistic differences (required)
? Fast, accurate typing skills (required)
? Computer and Internet literacy (required)

? Fluency in Mandarin – speaking, listening, writing (required)
? Fluency in English – speaking, listening, writing (required)
? Excellent telephone manner
? Sales-driven, motivated, enthusiastic manner
? Motivated by targets and driven to exceed them
? Is motivated to work with children and young people.
? Demonstrates the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
? Demonstrates emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours.
