--确保生产过程得到受控并且确保质量标准在生产现场得到实施。

--确保质量文件在生产现场实施的有效性并及时更新（例如：检验指导、控制计划、过程失效模式及后果分析、质量记录、主样件等）
--
--确保生产现场的质量目视管理得到更新，并且向管理者汇报结果。

--负责建立并跟踪顾客抱怨、内部审核、外部审核、产品审核及过程审核的结果。

--负责处理生产现场的不合格品

--有责任及权利停止不合格件生产。

--所负责现场的质量数据的统计、分析。
