Working target:
Within the plant, manage processes and people in order to:
Ensure that series production meets customer requirements: Quantity and Quality
Support to the continuous improvement process
Ensure the plant readiness to launch successful new programs
Manage and report key Manufacturing indicators

Management Function:
? Staff, train coach, assess and develop the plant technical team
? Support and train other networks/functions (Quality / Production…)
? Participation in the management of the expertise network (knowledge capitalization)
Reporting
? Manage key technical indicators (cycle time, machine utility, scrap rate…)

Responsibility Description A:Series production

1.Procurement of manufacturing equipment under consideration of demanded security, quality and
environmental protection and their preservation
2.Equipment and tooling follow-up
3.Support the engineering change management process
4.Update manufacturing routines and work instructions
5.Keep processes (machines, tools, procedures) at best possible level in compliance
with EHS regulations
6.Support the plant central maintenance
7.Monitor capacity utilization
8.Keep plant lay-out updated / improved
9.Plan, monitor and coordinate the work of external companies
10.Create and introduce procedures regarding the tasks
11.Lead problem solving initiatives in terms of product quality and process
12.Participate to the plant PPA meeting
13.Interface to technical functions of other plants inside the group in terms of benchmarking
know-how transfer etc.


Responsibility Description B:Continuous improvement process

1. Lead the continuous improvement process in following
- Labor,
- Machine Cycle Time
- Quality,
- Equipment and tooling reliability,
- Space,
- Work conditions


Responsibility Description C：Plant readiness to launch new programs

1.Lead the definition of the production process and selection of machines and equipments
2.Define plant layout to support new products launch in line with Material / Information Flow Analysis
3.Lead the installation process of new machines and equipments
4.Support production in the start of new processes to ensure a successful SOP
(initial samples, run @ rate, work instructions)
