§ Respecting the modus operandi described in the development process, applying the procedures and tools recommended by FES and PMS. Guaranteeing the application of the basic conditions of quality during development

§ Making sure the activities and batches of technical work have been properly planned in the program's general schedule

§ Managing the specific development steps by organising periodical development reviews

§ Participating in suppliers "risk assessment", drafting POE specifications, following up risk-prone suppliers and, if necessary, coordinating technical meetings

§ Participating in the Lean Line design initiative, validating the requested product changes and managing the modifications

§ Managing the functional milestones together with the PPL, guaranteeing the deadlines and the client's and suppliers' deliverable engineering updates (in particular key deliverables), for every program date and their record keeping in shareplace and Octopus

§ Participating in the analysis of risks and taking up the development related corrective action (SLI)

§ Managing the design reviews and participating in the product FMECA, validating the concepts, the feasibilities and the proper integration of product standards, managing the sturdiness indicator

§ Initiating the "special characteristics" approach, guaranteeing that the "regulation, safety" criteria are respected in compliance with the procedures in force

§ Managing the process/product modifications by establishing modification reviews, guaranteeing the correct use of Octopus (the division's PDM tool).

§ In the off line phase, attending demerits on parts and managing convergence plans and development QRQC in particular for tools and POE

§ Coordinating validation tests, participating in the analysis of the results and managing the convergence plan

§ Coordinating and following up prototype and off-line pre-production parts, validating the quality control files sent to the client, and managing the action plans

§ Guaranteeing the qualification of the product and completing the convergence plans

§ In the monthly committee meeting, reporting the technical performance of the program (performance indicators, difficult points, convergence plan, improvement ideas, etc.) in view of preparing the gate review.

· Ensuring transversality and capitalisation via Spider of experience gained on programs (technical retex, LLS)
