Dellner Couplers AB is a global company that sells and delivers Train Connection Systems for the global market. The head office and a factory are located in Vika just outside Falun. Dellner Couplers AB also has manufacturing plants in Poland, the United States and China, and sales and service organizations in many other countries. Major customers include Alstom, Bombardier and Siemens. The Group turnover is 700 million RMB and employs approximately 600 employees.

In China, Dellner has its head office in Shanghai,Beijing and Wuhan. We are now looking for an Operations Manager in Beijing.

Workshop Manager Beijing

Purpose of the position

The workshop manager is responsible for daily operations in the workshop in Beijing.

Responsibilities

The workshop manager is responsible for the workshop. This responsibility covers daily planning, storage, shipping and logistics.

Main tasks

· Managing the employees; planning and hiring

· Together with Dellner Sweden perform general planning for all divisions

· Maintenance for the facility, handling workshop equipment and tools

· Logistics; handling incoming and outgoing shipments for all divisions

· Handling safety and health issues

· Assure quality by following and implementing the DCST Quality manual.

Knowledge and Skills

The incumbent must demonstrate following knowledge and skills:

- Good communication skills in English, oral and written

- Decision making skills

- Effective verbal and listening communications skills

- Good leadership skills

- Knowledge in MS Office softwares

- Knowledge in Movex or similar ERP system

Qualifications and experience

· Minimum 5 years experience within the manufacturing industry

· In addition, minimum 2 years of experience as a workshop manager

· Graduation as a mechanical engineer or equal.

· English is a must, English level CET6 is a plus

- Chinese as the native language
- Experience of setting up a workshop is a plus
- Experience within the railway industry is a plus

Our Chinese subsidiary located in Shanghai Xinzhuang area contains of an assembly workshop and staff for Sales, After sales, Procurement and Project management.
