We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead our portal development team. This is a leadership position in a fast-paced environment, with a team of highly skilled and motivated software engineering professionals involved in building our products and planning our projects for worldwide deployment.? Prior experience building visualization tools for large and complex data sets is required.? Other critical skills and experience include project management, global implementations/?migrations and strong portal development for enterprise products.?

Primary responsibilities include:

·Responsible for team SDLC deliverables (requirements, estimates, technical designs, project plans, project execution).?

·Manage the efforts of engineering staff in China and work closely with counterpart in US

·Implement an architecture that simplifies individual product user interface development while guaranteeing consistent look and feel across the Gomez product family.?

·Build and manage a team of web application developers.?

·Work with Product Management to determine business and technical needs and ensure these needs are taken into account in product plans.?

·Manage development projects to deliver high quality products that meet product roadmap delivery timeline

·Develop and maintain relationships and sponsorships with key Gomez customers.?

The ideal candidate will have a strong record of accomplishment in an independent software vendor or online application environment.?

Experience Required:

·A seasoned knowledgeable development manager with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience, including experience in senior technical management positions

·A strong concentration in web application development with a proficiency in internationalization techniques and Rich Internet Application technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, Flash/?Flex).?

·Experience with Liferay Portal and Business Object is highly desirable.?

·Management of a distributed technical team including hiring/?developing highly effective leaders and technical professionals

·Experience must include role as both an individual contributor (developer or tester) and manager

·Must have strong cross-functional collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to successfully influence other business functions and engineering teams

·This position requires an undergraduate degree in a technical discipline; an advanced degree is very desirable.?

·Strong communication skill and fluent English
