Job Summary:
You will be the QA Manager at Compuware APM Gomez Beijing office. In addition to working with other Compuware-APM-Gomez SaaS QA team in U.S. (mainly in Lexington, MA with participation from Detroit, MI), you will closely work with various Development teams in Beijing office to provide high-quality test coverage for Gomez SaaS product suite, and provide help and assistance to end users via Customer Services organization.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a growing team of 20+ QA engineers in Beijing, China.
- Recruit, motivate, and retain a skilled high-performing staff.
- Establish effective communication with managers across other disciplines within the company to identify key tasks and deliverables involving Development, Product Management, Network Operation, and Customer Services.
- Participate in review meetings for requirements, use cases, and software development planning in order to come up with effective test coverage.
- Develop high-level strategies as well as quality goals; Review low-level individual test plans and (some) test cases to ensure sound implementation.
- Review change requests and implement necessary test activities to ensure production quality.
- Understand current QA automation strategy and process in place, Provide input for continuous improvement.
- Design, review, and implement new procedures and processes as needed.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience (5+ years) in QA managerial experience in a software development organization required.
- Previous QA/Development experience with enterprise, data-intensive, multi-tiered web application using Java or .NET technology highly desirable.
- Possess strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communications skills - in Chinese as well as in English.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks, as well as multi-tasking.
- Understanding of waterfall (such as Rational Unified Process) and agile software development life cycle methodologies.
- Previous hands-on automation experience using mainstream QA automation tools highly desirable.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, XML, .Net, Java. Should be familiar with database technology and be able to write medium if not sophisticated query statements.
- College degree in Computer Science or Information Technology required.
