POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking wildly creative visual designers with superb design skills and a history of working with significant clients. You’ll work with an incredibly diverse and passionate group of world-class designers on an array of local and global challenges. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Create stunning designs that effectively communicate product function and brand identity, including the design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements, and icons
? Develop illustrations, visual identities, and graphics in collaboration with the design team
? Present design work to the experience lead and external clients
? Successfully communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visually
? Actively participate design workshops and brainstorming sessions
? Makes design decisions driven by research, business requirements, technical specifications and moreover, strong design sensibilities


CHARACTERISTICS & REQUIREMENTS

Education - Minimum Bachelor's degree in design, human–computer interaction (HCI) or design-related studies.

Work experience - Candidates must have +5 years of design experience preferably from the agency side. They must posses a deep understanding of UCD methods and are able to use them consistently throughout design projects. Portfolio is a must for successful candidates.

Design thinking – Successful candidates can work design tasks on both macro and micro levels. They can effortlessly convey their thinking into visual illustrations that vary from storyboards to conceptual drawings. They approach design problems analytically and never loose the sight of user needs/goals. Often they drive multiple alternative approaches side by side and rarely settle with the ？rst idea they come up with.

Visual design – Qualified candidates will share our belief that design is as much about behavior and emotion as it is about utility and ease of use. They feel comfortable on producing paper and pen sketches, storyboards, conceptual models, data visualizations as well as pixel perfect graphics. They have experience on creating mood boards, visual identities and translating those in to final graphical representations.

Communication skills - Candidates must have strong presentation skills (verbal and written). They need to be able to communicate design rationale verbally and visually to their colleagues and clients in various settings e.g. design workshops, client presentations.

Team skills - Successful applicant thrives in collaborative working environment and knows how to inspire others. They never shy away from sharing their thinking, but are emphatic listeners and can build on top of other people’s ideas. In a workshop situation post-it up notes and drawings on a whiteboard are a second nature for a successful candidate. She/he has experience of leading both internal and client based design workshops.

Software skills - Experience with a variety of design tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, etc.

Personal characteristics - Successful applicant is enthusiastic about the industry and always looking into ways to develop his skills to another level and they thrive in a collaborative team environment.
