Introduction:

- For Communications and Government Affairs, we're looking for a Communications Specialist.

What are my responsibilities?

- Understand Siemens China press and PR communications strategy, policy, guidelines, plan and tools in alignment with Siemens headquarter

- Plan and develop Siemens China press communications activities and ensure the company communicates one voices to the external stakeholders

- Provide/facilitate systematic spokesperson training for company executives to ensure company spokespersons understand company messages and policies, speak in the same voice and up to the standard

- Monitor and analyze the competitive media environment to update company executives of brand perception of the company on day-to-day basis, and ensure accurate positioning of the company and identify key areas for improvement

- Establish, maintain and cultivate relations with media across the country by maintaining frequent dialogue with media on various topics

- Communicate and promote Siemens news and stories via a mix of multiple communications channels including press tours, interviews, press events, press releases, to the news media and public on a sustainable and timely basis to construct a favorable media environment for the company

- Develop and supervise speeches and presentations by company management on external occasions to ensure company executives speak of the same message

- Protect the company reputation in adverse environment by working with internal stakeholders to plan and execute crisis communications

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree and above, Major in Journalism or English, or Public Relations is preferred

- Languages: Strong in both Chinese and English communications (oral & writing)

- Working experience: >3 years experiences in communication related areas

Personal characteristics:

- Highly Self motivated, strong personal commitment to the work

- Excellent team work skill, easily building relationship with internal & external stakeholders

- Be able to perform under pressure in pursuit of results with strong work ethic

- Open minded, be able to learn new skills and react to changes quickly.
