Job Description

- Provide awesome & professional customer service in our customers office
- Professionally representing ChinaNetCloud toward customers
- Install, configure, manage wide range of cloud technologies including Linux Servers, DBMS, Load Balancers, etc
- Provice expert consultation in planing, designing large-scale cloud architecture
- Proactively provide/suggest excellent improvements for ChinaNetCloud and customers
- Create & improve monitoring scripts
- Have excellent documentation skills
- Have high passion in assisting customer to road of success
- Team player attitude
- Fluent Chinese in verbal and written

- Provide outstanding professional service to our customers in their offices
- Represent ChinaNetCloud to the customer, professionally, in-person
- Install, build, and manage Linux servers
- Install and manage load balancers, web servers, database systems and more
- Manage, backup and troubleshoot all types of Internet systems
- Become an expert in all areas of large-scale Internet operations

- Make improvements to our systems
- Tune and troubleshoot Database servers (MySQL Replication / troubleshooting);
- Setup and tune Cisco switches and firewalls
- Write good scripts (shell, python, perl, etc.) for monitoring, backup and routine automation work
- Create and update accurate system documentation
- Develop good quality training materials and provide training to the team members
- Provide proactive improvements to our systems
- Design and deploy Linux high-availability including HA, LB
- Architect complex network designs and solve technical problems

- At least 1 year customer facing experience
- Customer oriented attitude and excellent communication skills
- Strong in Linux OS and Linux troubleshooting tools (top, iostat, etc)
- Good understanding with Web Service Technologies (Apache, Nginx, PHP, etc)
- Strong understanding of networking and experience in network equipments
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and have passion in mastering various cloud technologies
- Able to work in multi-cultural and fast pace environment
- Ready to take on responsibilities and able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Working extra hours if duty requires
- Willing to be available and On-Call to provide critical support to our 24x7 team

- Experience with direct customer interaction, managing problems and issues
- Very personable professional attitude and personal presentation
- Excellent communication skills, internal and external
- Knowledge of the Linux operating system and Linux tools (top/iostat/vmstat/sar, etc.),
- Familiar with tuning Web service (apache / Lighttpd / Nginx ) + (PHP/Ruby-passenger),
- Familiar with other web technologies and tools, such as Cisco, Huawei, F5, Subversion, csv & git,
- Excellent problem solving skills with a desire to learn and take on responsibility,
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure within a reasonable time frame
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with end-users, peers, and management.
- Working extra hours if the duty requires it
- Willing to be available and On-Call to provide critical support to our 24x7 team


Nice to Have’s:
- Performance troubleshooting, optimization and scaling experience
- Scaling cloud architecture/web services such as Nginx, Apache, DBMS, etc
- Experience in HAProxy and other High Availabitly (HA) Solutions
- Familar with PHP & JAVA operations
- Knowledge in tuning high-performance MySQL/PGSQL database
- Strong understanding in security engineering
- Sendmail / Postfix basic knowledge
- Knowledge of remote storage for NFS and SANs
- Knowledge of Xen (HVM – PVM) and Vmware virtualization systems
- Experienced in monitoring applications such as Zabbix/Cacti
- Great understanding of AWS

- Performance optimization

- High-performance MySQL and PGSQL
- LDAP and security engineering
- CDNs and global data distribution
- MongoDB basic administration
- Postgres basic administration

- Knowledge of remote storage for NFS and SANs
- Knowledge of Xen (HVM – PVM) and Vmware virtualization systems
- Good experience managing and tuning monitoring servers (Zabbix / Nagios / Cacti / etc.)
