Quality Engineer Mechanical
Purpose
To ensure Quality of the product and process
Place in the organisation
Reporting to Manager Quality
Principle activities/ objectives
-Organize and execute inspections at suppliers
- Witness and perform final acceptance at suppliers
- Pre-audit potential suppliers
- Define corrective actions and manage non conformities
- Establish an reporting system
- Working with supplier, third parties in troubleshooting problems and product deficiencies
- Identifying improvement areas at suppliers
- Develop action plans for suppliers and quality control
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or related discipline
- Proven QA and QC experience
- Experience in the working field of technical rotating equipment or equivalent
- Well aware of QM system ISO9001 and QM tools
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
- Travel (approx. 60%)
Skills
- Well aware to read and interpret documents such as drawings, specifications, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- Good reporting skills
- Analytical, accurate, good presentation and training skills
- Hands on mentality and able to work under stress
