- For our Power& Gas Division in Beijing, we are looking for a Distributed Generation Technical Support Manager.

What are my responsibilities?

- Position overview

- As a Technical Support Manager for Distributed Generation, you will work closely with the sales team using your technical know-how especially power plant/combined cycle knowledge, as a bridge between partners and end customers and the head quarter proposal team. Other aspects of the role include supporting customer preliminary technology selection, project definition and site selection for future development.

- Responsibilities

- Work in conjunction with the sale team, support customer with technical concepts including preliminary technology, project definition etc. at the early stage of projects.

- Support project development in choosing adequate equipment, scope of supply and optimized components (gas turbine, steam turbine, boiler etc).

- Provide technical support for local customers regarding technical questions such as scope of supply clarification.

- Provide Interface between local sales team and headquarter proposal team.

- Assist to develop proposal standards for Chinese Market.

- Participate and negotiate technical part of contracts.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

- A minimum of 5+ years of related experience to the Power Generation Industry.

- Technical knowledge of overall power plant.

- Previous experience in CCHP design merited.

- Is able to adapt own working style to international environment to foster effective cooperation.

- University Master's Degree in Thermal Engineering, or a different suitable academic background. Experience profile is more important than education profile.

- Should be proficient in English (spoken & written).

- The Power and Gas Division offers a broad spectrum of products and solutions for environmentally-compatible and resource-saving power generation, using fossil or renewable fuels for efficient energy production and the reliable transport of oil and gas. Customers are utilities, independent power producers, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPCs) companies and industrial customers e.g. the oil and gas industry.
