Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

1.Participation in the early phases of automotive product/platform projects, for the SW related requirement analysis, SW system design, feasibility study etc.
2.Coordinate internally with different functions like SW team, PM, HW, ME, TV etc. to keep alignment between different projects for the common issue of the specific product/platform
3.Coordinate externally with product/platform suppliers to get the suppliers release on time, feedback platform related issues to suppliers and push suppliers to solve the problems (if the root cause on supplier side) etc.
4.Lead SW requirement analysis in Feasibility/Planning phase
5.Help the PMs, SW SPJMs of different projects to coordinate the project related activities
6.Product/platform related issue track and investigation
7.Knowledge and experience sharing among the product development activities based projects
8.Execute SW coding
9.Issuing high quality technical reports
10.Support SW testing and troubleshooting activities
11.Lead SW design reviews and code inspections
12.Understand and finalize specifications on the SW design requirements through communication with customers and/or internal project leader or system design engineer
13.Estimate the effort, plan the tasks and define the time requirement
14.Create and maintain SW design document
15.Conduct or participate in SW test, validation and performance evaluation, as required according to the quality standards
16.Possibly lead a Software design or test group as required
17.Support department manager in identifying future technologies and implementing new software design tools and methodologies.
18.Report progress to project manager
19.Disciplinary reporting to SW Manager or Senior Manager

Requirements / Qualifications:

1.Bachelors more than 5 years, MS/PHD more than 3 years of proven working experiences in electronics/electrical related system SW design, preferred in automotive industry
2.Knowledge of:
- C,C++ language
- 8/16 bit MCU assembly code
- device driver & SW architecture
- Real time systems with and without OS
- interrupt management
- language management for UI
- black out, brown out, fault recovery
- clock &date handling and time recovery
- data acquisition, storage, integrity and formatting
- energy saving techniques for battery operated devices
- bug tracking and revision control systems
- CAN/LIN SW development experience is plus
3.Knowledge and experience on embedded microprocessors/controllers that are commonly used in automotive applications, a definite plus
4.Knowledge and training in control system design and signal processing required.
5.Deep understanding on SW development processes and design quality requirements
6.Experience and knowledge on EV vehicle control systems, interior electronics will be definitely considered. Such systems include VCU, motor control and other electronics control unit etc. Knowledge on DSP design can be another plus
7.Good Knowledge and experience on MCU (32/16/8 bit), PMU, Memory, Bluetooth, USB, FM and WiFi related technologies
8.Strong system and component test results analysis capability.
