Job Description

Position Name: Math Review Engineer Position Level: Level I--II

General Job Scope:

· Executes routine software product assurance engineering assignments that involve basic analysis

· Software product engineering assignments typically impact a few portions of IGT’s products

· Develops enhancements to test plans to test pay table math models

· Decisions and actions infrequently influence the work of other team members and a highly limited number of business processes and customer outcomes

Key Responsibility:

· Provide detailed mathematical description and analysis of slot games.

· Verifies calculations in pay table math models from Game Design and develops simulation tools to ensure accurate payouts and compliance with gaming regulations.

· Test pay table math models for functionality, adherence to specifications and compliance with regulatory requirements.

· Verifies mathematical formulas within game design concept software code; ensures test results match predicted numbers.

· Perform frequent work on math probability models requiring probability analysis skills for proving math models and tool development.

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

? Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science degree in mathematics, applied mathematics
? Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills, be detail oriented, self-motivated, and work well in a team environment.
? Good understanding of probability distribution model
? Programming background in two or more of the following: C, C#, C++, .NET, SQL, XML

? Knowledge and understanding around programming is a big plus (C-Programming knowledge preferred)
