The Business
Towers Watson executive compensation consultants help the world’s leading organizations make sound decisions about how and how much to pay their senior executives.

Companies in North America, Europe and the rest of the world face intensifying scrutiny of executive pay from shareholders, regulators and other stakeholders. We advise clients’ boards of directors and management on all aspects of executive pay – with the goal of ensuring pay plans support the organization’s business strategy and drive desired performance. We help select the right performance metrics and goals, and assess pay program risks to ensure good governance.

Our services include:
Executive compensation philosophy and strategy development
Annual and long-term incentive plan design
Modeling and valuation of pay plan elements
Total compensation assessment and benchmarking
Stock ownership strategy and plans
Performance measure selection and calibration
Advice on change-in-control and severance arrangements
Board of director compensation and plan design.

The Role
As an associate consultant, you will work beside some of the industry’s top consultants while you develop cutting edge technical knowledge and skills.

You will have immediate exposure to real client assignments which will draw on your imagination and creativity as well as your ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and present results. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall industry expertise while you benefit from more structured learning interventions that are tailored to the business area you join.

Performance Objectives:
Client
Partner with consultants and clients to design strategies to attract, reward and retain talent
Help our clients ensure that their reward programs are competitive by performing competitive benchmarking analyses
Perform industry and financial research related to compensation strategy and design
Develop pay structures and incentive designs that help support companies’ business strategies
Value equity awards through the application of financial formulas
Participate in the design of custom compensation surveys
Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes
Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels

Excellence
Develop technical knowledge and skills in the area of Executive Compensation
Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations

Financial
Meet chargeable hours targets
Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by supplying information for proposals

People
Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams

The Requirements
Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics or business related disciplines from leading universities; MBA would be a definite advantage. Good academic results are desirable
1-2 years relevant working in international companies is a definite asset, but not essential
Strong numerical aptitude, analytical and critical thinking and research capabilities
Proactive learner, effective planning and time management
Self-initiator as well as a good team contributor
Computer proficiency with strong skills in MS Office
Mandarin-speaker, able to communicate in English
