Reporting to the Genral Manager

Responsibilities/ work areas:

1. Sourcing different kind of rubber and foam materials according to production requirements;
2. Negotiate prices and annual contracts with existing suppliers;
3. Identify and negotiate contracts with new suppliers in China and Asia;
4. Build strategic partnerships with key suppliers;
5. Participate in supplier evaluation and audits;
6. Continuously develop quality setup with suppliers in order to secure local and international customer demands are fulfilled;
7. Daily coordination with planning, shipping and warehouse department;
8. Monitoring stock turnover of raw materials;
9. Reviewing safety stock of raw materials; (and coordinate with colleagues for adjustments)
10. Optimizing methods and flow in purchasing;
11. Maintaining close cooperation with Sales, R&D, Production and Quality Control Departments;
12. Ensuring high market knowledge and be on the forefront regarding product development;
13. Participating in Global cooperation regarding product development and market trends;
14. Travelling in mainly China (30-40 days annually);

Qualifications:

1. Technical background and preferable strong knowledge about rubber and foam;
2. Experienced user of ERP systems and Microsoft office
3. 28-35 years old with min. 5 years experience with the above tasks in an international work-environment (fluent English oral + writing)
4. Team player – and proven cross-organizational experience
5. Well structured and easy to adapt to procedures and routines
6. Open minded and keen to learn new things
7. Representing the company- and involving colleagues in a professional and respectful way
8. Ambitious and hard working. The Business model require fast reactions and flexibility (short order cycle);
9. Personality to match the values of DST

DST is a daughter company of DAFA. DAFA is a 70 years old production enterprise, the main office and production facility is located in Denmark. DAFA develops, manufactures and supplies a wide range of foam and rubber products that seal, absorb and protect for industrial and construction applications with wind power as our major business area.
To the construction market we manufacture and supply sealing products and complete joint solutions for the entire building from floors, roofs, main fronts to windows and doors.

To the industry we offer gaskets, sealing strips, insulation material and specific packaging. Our products are custom-made and manufactured in close cooperation with each customer from development to production

DAFA has a long history of supplying to the wind power industry, and accumulated rich experience through closely cooperation with many well-known wind power enterprises in the wind power industry. In order to further support and develop DAFA’s existing and potential customers in wind power indurtry in China, DAFA established a sales office in Beijing In year 2009, and set up a factory in Wuqing development area, Tianjin in year 2010.

DAFA’s main focus for investment in China is the wind turbine industry. By establishing a local production company in China , DAFA both meets the requirements of producing locally, and is also able to support and develop an industry that is still very new with skill and knowledge to meet the fast growing demand for wind power in China.
