IN COUNTRY MARKETING MANAGER REPRESENTATIVE (CHINA)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- A market leading Australian Higher Education provider.
- Highly reputable brand with strong product offering.
- Beijing or Shanghai based.

We are seeking a hands-on, service orientated, and driven Sales and Marketing professional, with experience in the oversea education industry, to be our client’s Marketing Representative in China.

The position will be responsible for:

- Developing integrated marketing and communications strategies targeting prospective Chinese students.
- Driving sales to achieve the objectives of the business
- Developing and strengthening partnerships with education agents to increase the number of students recruited to their Australian campus locations
- Managing and negotiating partnership agreements and incentive targets for partner agencies
- Representing the client at student recruitment fairs, agent networking events and other industry functions.
- Identifying opportunities for targeted and effective communications through direct and indirect audience segmentation strategies.
- Supporting the delivery of marketing communications activities including collateral, campaigns, social media, and online content.
- Implementing sound strategic initiatives, marketing strategies, and communications based on detailed industry and market - knowledge to deliver student sales.
- Contributing to student retention activities and strategies, and the provision of student oriented services
- Maintaining a detailed knowledge of the representing education groups.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing educational products and services to Chinese students and education agents
- Proven track record of delivering student recruitment targets within a budget
- Network of onshore and offshore representatives and other student recruitment channels
- Experience in developing and implementing integrated marketing and communications strategies to support business objectives focused on mixed target markets.
- Excellent Mandarin and English Language skills.
