The role: Adsense Account Strategist - Beijing

The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) grows Google's business with online publishers by helping them utilize tools from products such as AdSense and DoubleClick. Our team is made up of high-achieving specialists who work with partners in online advertising and e-commerce. We thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented and international environments. On this team you proactively identify, develop, support and maximize revenue opportunities from existing and new partners. In OPG, we strive to exceed partner expectations through building, supporting and maintaining long-term win-win relationships.

As an Account Strategist on the Online Partnerships Group team, you build sales and marketing skills by helping us serve our worldwide user base. You work with small- and medium-sized web publishers to grow their online advertising business with Google. We promote thoughtful risk-taking to develop the next generation of sales solutions for our growing publisher network.

As an Account Strategist, you will proactively identify, develop, manage and maximize revenue opportunities from existing and new AdSense publishers. You are a self-starter with a penchant for exceeding customer expectations through building, managing and maintaining long-term relationships. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the industry and verticals as well as details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of clients.

Responsibilities:

Maximize client revenue by account management and promoting improvement ideas both as a dedicated consultant and through scalable ways.
Up-sell Google AdSense and other Google products for key partners. Enhance the quality of High Touch accounts and grow them into higher value accounts.
Collaborate with global product development team to meet local customer expectations.
Scalable initiatives for the larger pool of publishers to drive revenue growth.
Closely cooperate with data analysts in identifying growth opportunities.

Minimum qualifications:

BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).

Preferred qualifications:

Working experience in the internet industry as ad sales person.
Self-directed, motivated, and driven performer with exceptional multi-tasking abilities toward goal.
Strategic thinking and strong data analysis skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills required for interaction with management, customers and sales team.
Knowledge of HTML and JavaScript.
Native Mandarin speaking and fluent in English.
