-For our Infrastructure & Cities Sector in BEIJING,we are looking for a Customer Quality Manager 客户质量经理.
What are my responsibilities?
1. Be an active player of the organisation by working closely with cross-functional functions. Is visiting customers, understanding customer issues, supporting and driving the organisation towards 0-failure quality mindset.
2. Initiate corrective and preventive actions (task force) in case of quality or product safety issues. Work closely with the customer support organisation. Coach by using the right quality method or tool. Apply the 8D-report systematic.
3. Acts as technical support and quality interface between the Product Manager and the different parts of the organisation depending on where a quality problem is coming from. Support the Product Manager in his role in case of quality issues.
4. Report of customer claims in terms of number, but also in terms of resolution time. Work closely with the CPS Quality Manager when it comes to transparency and escalation of product safety and crisis projects. Support customer visits.
5. Provides tranparency about field quality, makes analysis about field quality and convert the results into improvement programs. Drives in depth root cause analysis and coaches the organisation accordingly.
6. Participation and driving of any training requests for improving quality performance and for introducing new processes or modified processes.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
1. 5 years experience in a technical profession if possible in electronics or building management systems
2. 1 year experience as member in project teams
3. soft skills knowledge required
4. 5 years experience in an industrial environment
5. Specialization: Manufacturing technologies (Electronics), Process engineering, Quality management
What else do I need to know?
-Is member of the cross-functional CPS quality and EH&S team
-The Quality Manager has to take care after customer complaints and need to drive customer satisfaction
-The Quality Manager has the authority to stop a product introduction or a production line in case of serious quality concerns
-The Quality Manager is responsible to assure that our processes are respected at all levels
