TSD is pleased to announce the opening of a new research and development center near Guomao CBD area in Beijing China. We are seeking respected and self motivated Senior Manufacture Automation Test Engineer for our new development center. You will have these responsibilities:
- Design, implement and configure automated test beds supporting validation of Symmetricom products in production.
- Plan, develop and implement test plans, operator procedures and test documentation for automated manufacturing test systems.
- Design and implement automated test systems (hardware and software) for new products with focus on product quality and production time.
- Provide product design reviews with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) recommendations and solutions through detailed documentation reports.
Minimal Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering or Science.
- 3+ years experience in telecommunications, networking or similar industry production environment.
- Must be able to travel to manufacturing locations in US and China
Preferred Experience Requirements:
- Prior experience in developing and implementing production test plans, procedures and test documentation from primary design documents and international standards.
- Hardware debugging experience for both analog and digital designs
- Knowledge with one or more of the following areas: communications systems (wireless, wireline, packet), telecommunications networks, data communications networks (10/100/1000 Ethernet), troubleshooting, and failure root cause analysis.
· Automation test experience including LabView, TCL/TK, Expect, HP VEE, JTAG (IEEE 1149.1), IEEE-488；
- English Fluency
- Able to read and understand technical materials written in English
- Can communicate through writing with engineers in US headquarters and contract manufacturers.
