The area: Advertising Sales, Google Media Platforms

At Google, we organize and change around our users and customers. Our Advertising Sales team embodies that pursuit: We're devoted to helping clients meet their changing advertising needs. In that regard, Advertising Sales does more than simply make money for our company. We work hard to identify our clients' business challenges, collaboratively shape solutions that drive their strategic initiatives and keep them informed in the ways our products can enhance their online and/or offline presence. In addition to being engaging, analytical, proactive and creative, we are ardent about the ways in which Google technology helps the world's biggest advertisers enjoy immediate and accountable communication with the consumer. In particular, our Media Platforms team develops CPM-based brand advertising solutions and incubates new media platforms. The team works closely with all Google sales channels to manage relationships and grow revenue with all of our customers.

The role: Head of New Business Platforms

As Head of New Business Platforms, you will be responsible for the sale of Google's platforms products that include DART for Publishers, DART for Agencies and Advertisers, Rich Media and other ad serving solutions. Your primary reponsibilities are to maintain and grow the revenue stream with new business and maintain the sales pipeline for new business. Reporting to the Regional Director for Platforms, you will acquire accounts by creating relationships with the client organization at all levels, produce a business plan for all growth clients and execute according to the plan. You will do this by working with Product Management on product features that need enhancement or new features that clients require to achieve their goals.

Responsibilities:
* Set and manage new business sales execution to achieve quarterly targets.
* Build and manage a team of new business sales professionals.
* Contribute to a business plans to achieve market leadership.
* Work cross functionally with colleagues from Support, Product, Marketing, Public Relations and other key functions.

Requirements:
* BA/BS degree preferred, with strong academic performance. Business school graduate degree is a plus.
* At least 10 years experience of operating in the Greater China region, in the field of digital advertising, offline advertising or enterprise technology sales.
* At least 5 years experience of working in a management capacity with responsibility for P&L.
* Strategic business planning skills and entrepreneurial experience is a plus.
* A strong track record in visionary leadership.
