Maintenance Consultant
JUMP Technology and SYSTEM in MOTION, international IT companies, located in Shanghai, with customers all around the world, are looking for a Talented Maintenance Expert. This position is an opportunity to work on challenging projects, and provide best quality services to customers from all industries. Best candidates are eligible to promotion, towards Maintenance Expert, Project Management or ERP Implementation Consulting.
Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Consultant works in a Business Unit, and provides Maintenance Services to Customers which are using a System developed by System In Motion.
The Maintenance Consultant is in charge of receiving requests from customers, analyzing their severity and priority according to the Maintenance agreement with the Customer (Covered Scope, Service Level Agreement) and, more generally, managing communication with the Customer in the Maintenance process (Understanding the context of the issue, assessing the impact on Customer’s Business, etc).
Depending on his/her assessment of the situation, he/she reports the issue and monitors the solving progress with the Maintenance Developers, or with the Project Team. The Maintenance Consultant has to make sure that no issue raised by a Customer remains unanswered.
Requirements:
-- Good understanding of Enterprise Information Systems ( Especially ERP / POS )
-- Good understanding of Information Technology (Operating Systems, Web Standards, Databases) - It is not required to be a Programmer, but good practical knowledge of Computers is a must. Programming languages knowledge (Java) will be appreciated.
-- Excellent Communication Skills, in Chinese and in English. Good ability to put yourself in “the skin” of the Customers, to understand their point of view.
-- Good sense of organization, ability to follow defined processes and follow-up with multiple on-going issues, even under high pressure. Ability to keep records of all events. Project Management knowledge or experience (ERP Implementation and Customization) will be a good plus.
-- Good Team spirit. Energy should be spent on improving the Customer Service, not searching a third person responsible for problems.
-- Good command of spoken and written English. Chinese is mandatory.
