The program manager is responsible for all aspects of new product development. They lead a core team consisting of engineers, marketing, manufacturing and support organization team leaders to develop world class products. Tektronix uses a phased and gated development process to manage all new product development and the program manager is responsible for guiding the team through this process. They are also responsible for the overall program success in terms of revenue, expenses, schedule and most importantly meeting customer needs. This is a very senior position and the program manager will be a part of the organization's staff helping develop and implement the overall strategy.

This position will fill a highly visible role in the Tektronix/Danaher company and requires capability to work with cross-functional teams around the world. The initial project will be extremely challenging, highly visible and highly rewarding. We welcome all who are eager to take on this role.

Qualification:

-BS degree preferably in CS, CE or EE. MS/MBA or equivalent is a plus
-Excellent English and Mandarin, both written and spoken
-Excellent management, team, oral and written communication skills
-Proven track record in negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution
-In-depth knowledge and experience in product development activities and tools
-Experience in developing a business plan and strategy
-Extended experience working with and ability to partner with all functional areas (engineering, marketing, etc...) and diverse customers and organizations
-Requires minimum of 7 years cumulative experience in related management, product development and technical field
