JOB SUMMARY:
You will be working in Beijing under the direction of a Product Manager as part of the analytics team. As Senior PHP Engineer you will help to design, implement and operate tools that process large amounts of game data into actionable information.
Responsibilities
1.Work with a team to implement and maintain a high load/scalable backend analytics platform and web service.
2.Design and implement web based interfaces that aggregate and visualize data
3.Assist PM’s in executing research projects, and generating practical results and recommendations
4.Provide technical assistance to development teams to set up data collection
5.Design and run database queries and scripts
6.Creates documentation to support designs and framework.
Qualifications
1.A Bachelor Degree or above.
2.At least 5 years work experience in PHP server/web development
3.Strong ability to write SQL and database design skills.
4.Good understanding of popular web technologies such as HTML5, Javascript, CSS
5.Can work in both the Linux and Windows environment
6.Able to problem solve and work independently.
7.Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written communications.
8.High proficiency with Excel including pivoting capabilities, analysis modules and - VBA macros is a plus
Bonus Qualifications
1.AS3 development experience
2.NoSql database experience
3.Worked in the game industry.
4.Passionate about games.
