BASIC DESCRIPTION:
This position will be a key technical position within Beijing Miller (BJM). The desired candidate will be an inventive person that will be a leader and key driver of product differentiation and competitive advantage through the development of new technologies. This position will help determine the strategic vision for patentable technology design and development for Chinese made products. This person will be responsible for new designs for the China market, aiding in the transfer of Miller US technology to China and Mechanical support of current BJM products.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of experience in Product Design, Development and Production Support is required.
Fluency in Mandarin and English.
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with SolidWorks, PDMWorks, COSMOSWorks and AutoCAD.
Experience with DFMA, continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
Additional qualifications include: knowledge of sheet metal, plastics and aluminum castings; the ability to analyze, select and test materials for designs based on durability and cost effectiveness; and the ability to analyze and solve thermal, mechanical and packaging issues.
Ability in helping form customer driven product specifications, project planning, design, testing and transitioning them into production.
US travel will be required for Transfer of Technology projects and within China for Voice of the Customer driven product development.

DESIRED QUALIFICATONS:
Candidate should also have experience designing products to international standards, including CCC and IEC.
Candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude, high motivation and excellent interpersonal skills who is able to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision.
Possess basic knowledge of welding processes and applications and associated equipment requirements.

任职资格

1、机械制造专业，本科及以上学历；英语精通；

2、5年以上相关设计工作经历；

3、熟悉机械原理；熟悉机械加工工艺；精通计算机辅助设计；

4、工作认真负责，严谨细致，有良好的创新精神和团队精神。
