Sales Representative/Manager



Job Summary:



You will be selling Quest Software products-Toad in China. The role will be a mix of prospecting into new customers & developing business with existing customers and distributor. You will have responsibility for identifying and qualifying opportunities to grow the revenue number within the regions. To achieve your goals, you will be working to activity targets which will support your revenue targets. This will require engagement and support of the Quest field sales team, end-users and interaction with other Quest Group sales staff. You need also to have a long term perspective to Toad's business making it a major contributor of revenue to Quest China.



Essential Responsibilities:


· Meets and exceeds assigned volume sales target(s) and quota(s) by prospecting, identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle. Ascertains customer needs, describes product capabilities, answers customer questions and ultimately sells products. Sells within assigned geographic area and may negotiate pricing within established norm.

· Reviews and pursues customer leads to identify key points-of-contact within the customer entity and to determine the most appropriate product(s) to suggest in the sales process.

· Develops and implements aggressive account strategies to "manufacture deals" that will increase Quest volume sales revenue and provide a logical, cost-effective investment for the customer by researching and understanding customer trends and buying patterns. Develops and implements Quest portfolio mapping strategies to sell Toad products (and possibly Windows and IAM line of products). Develops, aligns and executes sales strategies in support and coordination with Quest Sales strategies to maximize revenue generation

· Anticipates the customer's needs and maintains excellent customer service through to the close of sale. Establishes, manages and cultivates relationships with key decision makers for new, existing and prospective accounts, and drives referenceable customer satisfaction throughout the entire sales cycle

· Continuously acquires and maintains current knowledge of Quest products, technology, services, licensing requirements, Quest sales techniques, industry trends, features of competitor products, customer business strengths, weaknesses and challenges, and emerging technology to be able to successfully and intelligently articulate the benefit of Quest solutions and services to customers

· Utilizes CRM system to receive and work sales leads, and to create opportunities and quotes. Develops timely and accurate quotations and various reports related to sales tracking, forecasting, strategic development of targeted account lists, and expense reporting in accordance with Quest policy and ethical business practices

· Coordinates and communicates with Manager and Quest internal resources to optimize volume sales effort, obtain approvals, develop account strategies and deal points, and to finalize sales/orders


Minimum Requirements:


· You should have a proven track record in a role requiring similar sales experience dealing with major customers and/or distributor and also of carrying full responsibility of your sales quota.

· Comfortable with closing deals from USD800K

· Fair written and spoken English and communication skills + Putonhua is a must

· Proven ability to engage at Executive level

· Ability to learn and understand product capabilities and competitive differentiators

· Ability to work effectively unsupervised

· Team player with personal drive and determination to succeed



Desirable:



· Knowledge of Toad and development software. Microsoft Office software or similar is a added value.



Outgoing personality with a high degree of energy, passion and optimism

· Good understanding and interest in computer technology
