Academic Marketing Manager
Responsibilities:
The Academic Marketing Specialist works in partnership with the sales team to increase channel sales, by creating interest and demand for CCH through direct marketing, lead generation and event marketing. In addition, the specialist is responsible for all the generation and maintenance of sales collateral, advertising, direct mail, and website. This position is responsible for preparing a detailed annual budget plan and for tracking & maintaining the budget. Specific responsibilities include:
- Prepare the annual Academic Marketing Plan.
- Manage conferences, trade show and speaking schedule.
- Manage lead generation/direct marketing campaigns via email, advertising, telemarketing and direct mail.
- Manage localized sales collateral program.
- Manage customer programs including, Library Advisory Board, Library Summits and Seminars.
- Track lead generation and ROI for designated marketing campaigns.
- Manage marketing project database.
- Manages and reports on marketing activities and budget.
- Develop, write and implement market strategies in close cooperation with the Academic and Government Library Marketing Staff, including Sales where appropriate.
- Develop and implement marketing communication plans in cooperation with the product manager and sales team
- Manage eProduct Trial Process and campaigns.

Requirements
- Possess excellent spoken and written knowledge in English and Chinese mandarin.
- BA in marketing or communications required, along with 2 to 5 years proven experience in operational and strategic marketing in a business to business environment is preferred.
- Experience in MarCom, direct marketing, and online media are preferred.
- Library marketing experience preferred.
