Position Overview The candidate will be working as part of engineering team at BSQUARE Beijing office and will be responsible for designing, developing, porting and modifying drivers and system-level OS components for adaptations of Windows Embedded Systems (CE, Pocket PC, XPe, and Smart Phone, Android) to various platforms, including Android. These platforms include industrial handheld devices, smart phones, automotive devices, web appliances / web pads, video camera systems, thin clients, personal computing companions, set top box systems and more.
Key Responsibilities Responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to:
? Developing driver/middleware software for Android/Linux/WinCE based systems
? Debugging 3rd party software on customer’s target platform
? Debugging driver and middleware software
? Partner with BSQUARE clients in determining technical needs
? Lead a development team to complete the project.
Qualification To be successful in this position, you must possess the following required skills and experience:
? 3+ solid years with the Android/Linux/WinCE operating system in middleware/driver/kernel layer.
? 5+ years developing with C++
? 1-2 years developing with Java is a plus.
? Extensive embedded experience
? Strong communication skills
? Proven technical leadership skills showing career progression
? Must be self-sufficient, proactive and strive for excellence
? Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical competency.
