Responsibilities:
Working as part of a team of Technical Support Consultants, this role will be required to provide technical support to AspenTech customers for the aspenONE licensing, installation and Production Management & Execution suite of products (e.g. InfoPlus.21). Tasks will include:
? Troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues reported by customers via telephone, web chat and e-mail
? Develop product knowledge to enable contribution to second level support activities
? Escalation of issues to other disciplines within AspenTech, e.g. Research & Development or Professional Services
? Assist in the meeting of key performance indicator targets
? Creation of knowledge base articles for distribution to customers
? Participate in beta testing of future software releases to help drive improved product quality
? Deliver product training in either AspenTech public training facilities or on customer site
? Onsite Professional Services or customer support work.
? Technical Customer Advocate services to help improve the satisfaction of key customers

Qualifications:
? Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
? Experience in computer networks, administration of client/server applications, database technology or computer programming.
? Experience in and proficient with Oracle and MSSQL administration, SQL syntax and writing of db scripts.
? Experience in and proficient with Microsoft Server Operating System, security and IIS administration.
? Experience in and proficient with at least 1 programming language: VB, C+/C# or Java.
? Excellent communication, customer relationship and strong troubleshooting skills.
? Strong written and oral English and Chinese communication skills (additional language skills such as Korean or Japanese would be beneficial).
? Ability to travel if required.
? Knowledge of AspenTech Plant Operation products an asset, particularly InfoPlus.21,Operations Manager, Advisor, and/or DMCplus would be an advantage.
