2-months contract role based in Beijing

CLS Communication is one of the largest language services providers in the world with 21 offices in Europe, Asia and North America. In Asia, we have a presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing. CLS Communication's core business is translating, writing and editing for the banking and finance, insurance, telecommunications, life sciences and legal industries. Over 650 in-house and 5,000 external language experts write, edit and translate texts in any language.

For a large Mainland China Private Equity firm based in Beijing, we are now looking for a translator / investment writer for a temporary assignment.

Scope of the role

? Translation from Chinese into English of private placement memorandums, projects files, etc.
? Attend deal team meetings (spoken in Chinese), take briefing, and draft documentation in English
? Liaise with deal teams and other client representative to ensure high quality deliverable on time

Requirements:

? Native-level English speaker
? Fluent in spoken Putonghua and proficient in written Chinese
? Experience with a PE-firm, or with IBD or Big 4 Advisory supporting PE deals
? Able to work on-site at our client's office in Beijing
? Able to start immediately and available for at least 2 months starting mid August
