The successful candidate will be a key member as a FPGA & DSP design engineer in the hardware R&D team for China Business Unit, Tektronix. The candidate will design, implement and test FPGA/DSP within a signal generation instrument for digital wireless communication applications. The FPGA/DSP is used for generating the corresponding digital baseband signal. The candidate will join a team of experienced engineers building the next generation instrument products.

Qualifications:

1.Master degree or above in EE from a well-known university;

2.Ability to speak/read/write/present in English clearly for both internal and customer communications at a technical level;

3.A minimum 3 years of relevant work experience particularly in digital baseband signal generation;

4.Proven ability in designing, implementing, debugging and understanding complex hardware/software systems;

5.Proven experience in FPGA/DSP design, verification and debug;

6.Good background in digital communication and digital signal processing;

7.Proven experience in Matlab, Verilog HDL/VHDL and C design techniques and implementation;

8.Skilled in FPGA development tools like ISE, QUARTUS, Modelsim, Synplify, etc.;

9.Skilled in usage of schematic and layout design tools like Cadence, Mentor, etc.;

10.Familiar with high-speed digital and mixed signal design like ADC, DAC, DDR, etc. ;

11.Familiar with usage of test instruments like oscilloscope, logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.
