The Position:
Financial Director is a new position, in the SAIC JV Shanghai of a severe service valve company.

This position is responsible to manage the activities within the finance function for the SAIC JV which under IMI Severe Service. Reporting directly to GM of SAIC JV and dot line reporting to ISS China and related functional leader of global. , sS/he is responsible for SAIC JV financial and planning matters inside of operations. The incumbent provides advice and counsel to general management, and business direction and functional guidance. The position is based in Shanghai, China.


Objectives:

? Prepare financial analysis according to business strategies and submit recommendation to management
? Provide timely and effective financial reporting to plant/devision division managers to allow good decision making and proper control of operating expenses.
? Responsible to examine cost, investigate variances and engage plant staff to create solutions to meet financial expectations.
? Focus on continuous improvement. Focus on business process improvement within finance organization to eliminate waste and reduce costs.
? Establish, maintain and enhance the manufacturing cost system.
? Report various financial data and aprpve approve spending.
? Analyze new business opportunities and recommend direction. Prepare various financial analyses analysis for Sr. Management.
? Mentor plant staff on financial implications and reporting requirement. Also foster an environment of fiscal discipline throughout the organization.
? Responsible to manage relationships with relevant bureaus and government agencies.


Experience & Personal attributes:

? BS in Finance at least 8 years working experience as a Financial Manager in MNCs.
? Requires proficient English and Chinese language skills in speaking, reading and writing
? Excellent finance knowledge including bank, accounting, audit, costing and tax
both in manufacturing environment and sales organization.
? Manufacturing experience is a must.
? Strong Interpersonal communication, presentation and negotiation skill
? Attention to details (especially in numbers), while demonstrating good business acumen as well.
? Experience working and managing in high-performance, quality-oriented, team-based workplaces.
? Experience and ability in managing, training, and developing staff to prepare them for advancement.
? Desire to learn new technical knowledge and management approaches.
? High personal integrity and strong commitment to ethical behavior.
? Demonstrated record of stability and commitment in previous work experience.
