POSITION SUMMARY:
Maintain and evaluate supplier quality metrics, he in combination with QA Supervisor will development long-term strategies to meet Monster Cable quality requirements.
SQE should promote team work among QA, Suppliers and other departments toward the system compliance, such as ISO, RoHS, UL, etc. SQE will be responsible of tracking SCAR, Supplier QIP’s (QualityImprovement Plan) and Suppliers performance. Engineer will provide feedback to suppliers as well as to be able to keep up quality improvement plans for top suppliers.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Schedule and conduct on-site quality system, product and process audits at domestic and international suppliers.
• Monitor Suppliers IQC, IPQC and OQC performance and maintain the team informed about these metrics ina regular basis
• Conduct product/process launch meetings with Monster and with Suppliers teams to assure allrequirements are properly understood and executed
• Manage supplier corrective action plans and verify implementation.
• Lead and facilitate Continual Improvement efforts at suppliers, through training activities
  Provide Quality System support for Incoming Quality Assurance (IQC) and First Article Inspections(FAI Initiate process control plans and evaluate changes prior to new product implementation.
• Manage process validation activities and evaluate protocols and report for adequacy.
• Support Supplier Management program, maintain supplier dossiers and facilitate multi-departmental supplier meetings.
• Provide Management with relevant data on a scheduled basis to evaluate and address supplierquality issues.
• Assist Quality Management in all phases of the department’s activities including cost reduction activities and process improvements.
• Perform administrative functions that relate to maintaining proper documentation.
• Assist Quality Management with third party audits / assessments / surveillance (UL, ISO) assubject matter expert on supplier quality program.
• Must be willing to travel 40 – 60% to domestic and international suppliers.
• Other activities as needed to support business needs.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Must have 4-5 years experience with supplier development, audits, and continuous improvement activity.
• Experience on factory audit qualification and ability to report Suppliers best practices and areas of improvement
• Experience with the development and documentation of quality systems processes and procedures, specifically controlling and documenting standard quality procedures for supplier integration, development and metrics.
• Experience and knowledge with manufacturing process and equipment validation.
• Certified Quality Auditor is desired but not required.
• Experience with electrical and electronic components, manufacturing processes for cables, packaging components
• Strong experience on Audio, Blue Tooth, headphones and cables is required
• Interpretation of product electrical & electronic schematics is desired
• Desired skills include ISO understanding, knowledge of 5 S concepts and other QC inspectionknowledge
• Must have good English written and oral communication skills.
• Windows-based quality data system experience required.
• Experience and knowledge of Acceptance Sampling plans (Mil-Std 105E) and table usage
• Visual inspection experience
• Must have experience with MS Office platforms (Excel, Word, etc.)
