China Accounting Manager
About the Job:
We are seeking a strong Accounting Manager in Beijing, China with 8 plus years of combination of big four and industry experience in accounting, tax and audit fields. Duties include, but not limited to:
Financial booking, closing/reporting and tax compliance:
? Manage the accounting closing per statutory and management requirement; ensure the accuracy of the accounting book and make sure it comply with the policy
? Prepare periodical financial reports required by company, group and government with assigned area
? Prepare, review and submit tax and other external government authority required reports
? Coordinate internal & external financial statement and tax audit
Cash flow and payment management:
? Manage payments to external vendors and internal employees; ensure all the payments are made in compliance of company policy, FCPA and other required internal approval
? Handle overseas payments; ensure all the foreign currency related transition is fully comply with SAFE/bank regulation
? Manage and forecast cash movements, improve capital utilization efficiency
Fixed assets management:
? Implement proper procedures to ensure fixed assets are registered/transferred/disposed with proper approval and transition is timely booked
? Ensure monthly depreciation booking and perform periodic physical check
Finance process management and improvement
? Support, implement and improve the internal control in the company, review and update policies and procedures timely, complying with statutory and company requirement
? Work with headquarter closely to assist in standardization and improvement on Accounts Payable processing, fixed assets management and other Finance process
? Engage key stakeholders locally and to ensure Finance is able to understand and respond proactively and professionally to the demands of the business
? Lead the China accounting team and work with international accounting firms on various local accounting and tax issues
Required Skills:
? Certified public accountant with minimum 8 years accounting/finance working experience gained in big four organization and sizable foreign invested enterprises with at least 2 years' experience in managerial position
? Collaborative management skills (day to day management of relationships with the finance, HR, IT, Admin, country managers, legal, local accounting firms and internal/external auditors)
? Solid understanding of PRC GAAP, taxation, internal control concepts and practice
? Strong communication skills, fluency in both oral and written English and Chinese
? Coach and develop the team to improve the competency of the team
? Strong capability to work under pressure and ambiguity
? University degree with Finance/Accounting majors at least
? Proficiency in Oracle and experience in finance share service center and SAFE regulation is a plus.
