*a good education in Mechanical engineering with good knowledge of refrigeration direct expansion circuit theory.
* Understand HVAC system in cooling and direct expansion circuit.
* Have experience in direct expansion refrigerant coil design for mid temperature cooling circuit.
* Have experience in using coil selection software program for direct expansion coil and condensing coil sizing for various range of on coil and off coil temperature range. (This engineer is required to design coil to provide low off coil temp ( 12 deg C ) with high on coil enthalpy ( summer time out door condition) and high condensing off coil temperature ( 50-55 deg C).
* Good knowledge of enthalpy heat theory, thermodynamics, heat pump etc.
* Have commercial experience in using different type of refrigerants like R22, R407, R410, R134A etc
* Have good knowledge of the commercially available DX compressors system like scroll , screw and reciprocating compressors brands, advantages and disadvantages.
* Able to size up refrigerant pipe pressure drop of various compressor sizes.
* have some knowledge of motor starter control circuit, DOL circuit, Auto Trans circuit, soft starter circuit.
* have understanding of motor torque-power-ampere relationship
* have knowledge of design Chilled water coil and have use software selection program.
* have knowledge of selection of direct expansion valve and / or Electronic expansion valve
* have experience working in similar air-conditioning equipment company.
