Summary of the role:

This position will report to Service Center Workshop Manager of IMI Severe Service China. Under the position he/she shall work with other members of workshop to carry out all relevant service jobs for IMI Severe Service business. This position will have to be based in Beijing.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

Prepare TA drawing submit for approval
Engineering design of SVC coupling adaptation engineering design & fabrication.
Concerned with wholes of SVC control installation layout standardization design.
Liaising buyout vendor, supplier and fabricator for sourcing solution.
Evaluate fabricator in terms of service, quality and cost effectiveness.
Dealing with day-to-day or case-to-case problem or issue for solutions, correction & prevention.
Provide guidance for technical advice to ensure every effort from team to be consolidated to meet each task commitment.

Qualification requirement:

Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
At least 3 years mechanical design experience in similar position
In depth knowledge in automation industry, experience in control valve service and maintenance is preferred
Proficient at CAD program, familiar with oil hydraulic control system is preferred
Good communication in oral and written English
Be skilled at troubleshooting individually
Good coaching skills to help other team members in solving engineering problems.
