Job Overview
The scope of work of this position consists in verification and validation of BMC SW function in BEV/PHEV
platform, including development of ECUs in terms of hardware, software, diagnostics and testing. Sub-
components include: BMS (Battery Management System), HV junction box; CMC (Cell Module Controller).
Major Responsibilities
Definition of a comprehensive and consistent verification strategy and the procedure for testing with consideration of ISO 26262 (test methods and possibly tailoring with justification)
Coordination of the verification strategy with client - The verification strategy must contain an optimal and targeted regression strategy that is coordinated with the client.
Preparation of scheduling incl. Milestones for six months in advance regarding test scope and test activities in consultation with SPOC
Commissioning and maintenance of the test stations (including coordination with the department, maintenance of networking, maintenance and updating HIL models, etc.)
Testing at the test stations (including HIL, board construction, manual tests on the vehicle, for example)
Achieving the highest possible degree of automation of the test procedure (> 95%)
Evaluation of test results and traces, as well as documentation
Competences and Capability & Skills

1-3 years BMS Battery or BMS development / testing experience
Familiar with BMS general function & application SW architecture.
BMS, DCDC, OBC & DC/AC Charging development & validation experience is preferred, especially on BMS SW (MIL / HIL)
Basic knowledge of function safety, ASIL rating and test method according to ISO 26262
Familiarity with RCP & HIL bench development, especially on dSpace control desk.
Practical experience with CAN trace analysis tools (e.g. CANoe, CANalyzer, VehicleSpy, Busmaster or similar)
Background in power electronics & new energy vehicle
Familiarity with standard Office Software, including Excel, Word and PPT
Background in test systematics and tracking/reporting tools like Jira or Quality Center/ALM would be a plus
Good communication and coordination skills

Education
Bachelor degree or above
