With the objective of profitably gaining ranks, market share & leadership in identified channels & therapy areas in the market of China (and also support BD colleagues from other emerging markets)

Education & Experience 

Candidate should be in life sciences/ pharmacy undergraduate degree. Should have minimum of 5-10 years overall work experience in Pharma, or Pharma focused Consulting or Investment Banking; Strategy, portfolio or sales experience, though not mandatory, is desirable. 

Business Understanding 

Should have strong understanding of China pharmaceutical industry & a broad understanding of global markets specifically emerging markets, should be able to identify trends & relate macro economic developments with impact on local market, understand & track competitors, strong network / relations in Chinese market, understand internal processes, people & organisation business on the territory. 

Knowledge Behavioural & Skills  

Understanding of Negotiation tactics, contract law (basic), Key Financial terms. Fluent English - Reading and writting

Strong analytical, planning and strategic thinking skills,Excellent communication skills, Self-motivation and Result Orientation, High level of business ethics, integrity and professionalism, ability to ensure those standards are reflected in the business dealings,  Ability to work under changing environment and ability to manage ambiguity,Ability to work effectively with Cross Functional Teams
