I. POSITION PURPOSE:
The purpose of this position is to perform Sales and Marketing Support activities for the product of responsibility, in China.
The responsibility of this position is to ensure both AGCO Staff & Sales Distribution network are fully up to date with all information relating to the products to enable them to achieve AGCO's goals, throughout China.
The incumbent will initiate, develop and coordinate:
· Product Information on the product attributes
· Provide Sales Training on the product.
· The position will focus on Baler or Combine.
This position will interface on a regular basis with other disciplines within the company, including Sales, Engineering, Product Reliability and Parts. In addition, the position will need to liaise with the Marketing representatives of all AGCO brands within the EEA region.
II. JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
The key responsibilities that this position carries will cover:
Product Support
· Support all aspects of Sales related technical queries on the product of responsibility.
· Ensure timely response to critical requests wherever possible.
· Provide field support & training for China Distribution, Dealers, internal staff and Key Account teams
· Ensure that all product knowledge is current & maintained up to date
· Assist wherever in the planning of any new Product introductions
· Provide support for Photo / Field shoots.
Product Communication
· Produce Product Bulletins for the product of responsibility
· Produce & maintain up to date Product Information Guide
· Communicate in an effective manner Product Development issues to Marketing
· Assist in identifying & understanding future market & product development needs
· Recommend specification modification based on customer/market
Product & Sales Training
In conjunction with the relevant Sales teams:
· Identify all product & sales training requirements, for both Internal AGCO and Distribution staff
· Plan, develop and organize product training courses, with all related supporting documentation.
· Ensuring that all benefits of the product versus competitive machines are communicated in a timely manner
Competitive Analysis
· Develop & Maintain Competitive comparison database on Competitive products
· Identify & maintain database on commercial trends of all major competitors.
· Participate in major farm shows.
General
· Assist with projects as Identified by Product Marketing Manager
· Assist with sales opportunities as requested from time to time from Sales
· Support EEA department in the promotion of the product at Nationals shows and events
III. REQUIREMENT:
· A Good Knowledge of Agriculture/Agronomy
· Education - Diploma /Degree in Agriculture /Agricultural Engineering /Agronomy
· Fluency in both Written & Oral English.
· Understanding of agricultural machinery and its application in the field.
· Good communication skills both oral and written.
· Ability to speak and present in front of both small and large audiences
· Ability to be consistent and timely in completion of assignments.
· Willingness to work with all team members, regardless of physical locations.
· Willingness to travel within China
