Responsibility

1、Prime Contract

• Reviewing, Risk Analysis, Qualification and Negotiation with respect to the terms and conditions in compliance with

  • Applicable laws and Regulations

  • Corporate Directives, such as Special Risks

• Assess business/contractual Risks, to produce and submit risk analysis in order to inform and seek appropriate approval from corporate and board level before bid submission and contract execution in accordance with Corporate Protocol and DoAs

• Support project management team to understand the terms and conditions specified in the Contract to avoid potential claims.

• Handover and summarize “HIGH” risks for Large Project as request.

2、Other agreements including NDAs, LOAs, letter of demands, settlement agreements

3、Insurance:

• Provide Insurance certificate to client based on the contract requirements.
• Negotiating with client on insurance provisions under the Contract.

4、Tenant Lease Contract for offices located in China

5、Functional Support to the other functional department for the contractual issues including Procurement Department and Administration Department etc.

6、Coaching to the Peers and Training to the Contracts Risks Management in relation to internal contracting policies and updates eg. CSOC, SPECIAL RISKS and Corporate Procedures

7、Sub-delegation in accordance with the DoA from Regional APAC to China.

 

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor degree or plus in Legal, familiar with civil and commercial law;

• Over 3 years’  experience in the same role

• Experience in Construction Industry and familiar with project execution are preferred.

• Fluent in English.

• Good communication skills

• Can work under pressure
