职位描述
Knowledge and Skills:
A University degree (not include self-taught degree)majoring in English and/or English Education;
High level of English language proficiency, band 8 achievement level;
2-3 years English teaching experience, especially ages 5-11;
A good understanding of the Chinese education system, grades 1-5 preferred;
(knowledge of the western education system and/or teaching methodology would be an asset);
Have a good understanding of the needs of the young learners, particularly young ESL learners;
Good computer skills e.g.: MSWord, (Power Point an asset);
Should look professional and friendly, neat and clean.
Personal Qualities:
Excellent communication skills.
A love of children and teaching.
A passionate, energetic and enthusiastic love of teaching in their words and attitude.
A willingness to work diligently as a contributing team player.
A willingness to accept Company Policy regarding the Learning Centre's operations and regulations.
A willingness to learn new ways of doing and thinking about education and the teaching process.
An ability to view the acquisition of new skills as a challenge rather than a problem.
An understanding of the importance of having a sincere commitment to the task of educating young children (to be serious about the job).
An acceptance and a liking for other cultures and an ability to see the value of sharing cultural diversity with young children.
